Location Type

The Location Type function permits the user to setup a location classification system. It will be superseded by Space Type if the Commercial Property Management module is also installed.

Requirements

1. Existing Business Entity.
2. Existing Customer Account.

Step Process

1. From the homepage, go to module menu option.
2. Navigate to "Asset & Maintenance > Asset > Location Type".
3. The default location types are pre-set in the system. To create a new location type to be used, click on ”Create New”.
4. Enter the location name and click “Save” when done.

Notes

1. Location type defines the structure of the location. In the system, only “Leasable Space” is
   marked for leasable usage. Other location type serve as hierarchical structuring and indication
   of the type of location that will be created.
