Fixed Asset Journal

Post journal entries for adjustment of a fixed asset value. An example of a fixed asset record is any of the following: Office Equipment, AV Equipment, Lighting Fixtures, Computers, Moto Vehicles. Land & Buildings. The Equipment Type can be set up as part of the Asset module.

Navigation

1. From the homepage, go to Finance module.

2. Navigate to the Fixed Asset and select Fixed Asset Journal.

Guide

1. Click the Add button to add new assets.

2. Select the Business Entity and posting date.

3. Click the Download to Excel button to download the JE template.

4. Populate the following fields:

• Fixed Asset
• Transaction Type
• GL Account Code
• Debit Amount
• Credit Amount
• Remarks

5. Once done, click the Upload via Excel button. 

6. Click Submit for Approval button.
