Configure direct debit settings for your customers. This involves setting up of automatic deduction dates and relevant bank accounts and GL accounts for each of the contracts in the system.

 

 

Navigation

1. From the homepage, go to Finance module.

2. Navigate to the GIRO and GIRO Setting.

 

 

Guide

1. Click the Create New button.

2. Select the business entity from the list. 

3. Set the primary and secondary deduction dates.

4. Set the number of days to create a batch before deduction.

5. Under Payment Modes, add the bank accounts to be credited for the direct debit transactions:

  • Click the Add button.
  • Populate the following:
    • Account type: Lease, License, Utility or General
    • Payment Mode: GIRO
    • Max Record Per File
    • Bank Account
  • Once done, click the Update button.

6. Review all the Payment Mode details, once okay click the Save button.
